Vol. 462 No. 6

Written Answers. - Remedial Teacher Appointment.

Noel Davern

Question:

92 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Education her views on the appointment of a remedial teacher to Bansha national school, County Tipperary; whether the school is being considered by her Department for such an appointment; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5257/96]

Theresa Ahearn

Question:

94 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Education when a remedial teacher will be appointed to a school (details supplied) in County Tipperary. [5264/96]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 92 and 94 together.

I am not in a position at present to make a remedial teacher post available to the school referred to by the Deputies.

When I am in a position to extend the remediation service, the school in question will receive every consideration.
