Research indicates that the following Acts operated by and policed by my Department were on the Statute Book prior to 1921:
The Intermediate Education (Ireland) Acts, 1878 and 1913.
The National School Teachers (Ireland) Act, 1879.
The Leases for Schools (Ireland) Act, 1881.
The Educational Endowments (Ireland) Act, 1885.
The Irish Education Acts, 1892 and 1893.
The Irish Universities Act, 1908.
The Children Act, 1908.
