Vol. 467 No. 7

Written Answers. - Special Restaurant Licences.

Tony Killeen

Question:

111 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Health the number of hotels, guest-houses and other tourism projects that are awaiting certification due to an inability to obtain hygiene certification or licences to sell alcohol in restaurants. [13345/96]

I am informed that 25 applications for special restaurant licences, allowing for the sale of alcohol in restaurants, are unprocessed due to the current industrial action by environmental health officers.
