I have approved Westmeath County Council's proposals for a new fire station in Kilbeggan and the council has since submitted contract documents for the project. These are under examination in my Department at present.
360 Mr. Power asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction approval for the provision of a new fire station for Athy, County Kildare. [15641/96]
