Brennan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will have arrangements made for immediate confirmation of receipt of an application for a new house grant in respect of persons (details supplied) in Dublin 16, who have been told that an acknowledgment is not possible until early October 1996 in view of the fact that the acknowledgment is needed as a matter of urgency by the applicant's finance agency in support of bridging finance; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
