Question:422 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Education if she will have arrangements made to have palisade fencing erected in a school (details supplied) in County Cork. [16558/96]
Written Answers. - County Cork School Fence.
An application was received from the board of management of this school for the provision of palisade fencing at the school.
Tenders have now been obtained for the work and the tender report has been examined by my Department's technical staff. A letter issued from the building unit of my Department to the consultant architect involved in this project recently requesting additional details concerning the new health and safety regulations. Subject to these details being in order, the contact will be placed for the provision of palisade fencing at the school.
