254 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Defence if he will review the case which has been made to his Department by the Organisation of National Ex-Servicemen for further capital funding to enable the fine work to be continued in Brú na Bhfiann in Dublin. [11168/97]
In 1993 a grant of £440,000 was made to the Organisation of National Ex-Servicemen (ONE) under the voluntary housing capital assistance scheme of the Department of the Environment to enable the building of a hostel for ex-servicemen and ex-service women at Queen Street, Dublin. I admire the excellent work being done in this area by ONE and I propose to ask my Department to contact the organisation with a view to identifying what are its particular requirements.
