The person named applied on 26 animals under the 1996 EU suckler cow premium scheme for non-suppliers of milk. He was paid his full entitlement of £3,645.98; an 80 per cent advance of £2,916.78 was paid on 11 November 1996 and the balance of £729.20 was paid on 15 April 1997.

The person named applied on 21 animals under the 1996 ten month EU special beef premium scheme and on two animals under the 1996 22 month EU special beef premium scheme. An 80 per cent advance of £1,514.85 was paid to him on 18 February 1997 in respect of his ten month animals. The balance of 20 per cent will be paid during this week. The person named was paid his full entitlment of £180.34 in respect of his 22 month animals; an 80 per cent advance of £144.27 was paid on 18 February 1997 and the balance of £36.07 was paid on 15 April 1997.
The person named applied on 28 animals under the 1996 beef cow scheme, of which 27 are accepted for payment. Payment, which was delayed because not all of his land was digitised under the 1996 land parcel identification system, will be made within the next three days.
