Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs Offices: Ballyfermot; Victoria Street; Thomas Street; Werburgh Street.
Garda Stations: Ballyfermot; Kevin Street; Kilmainham.
Department of Defence: Infirmary Road.
Other: Ordnance Survey Office, Phoenix Park; National Archives, Bishop Street; Royal Hospital, Kilmainham.
Buildings in the area (on which Office of Public Works has incurred expenditure) to which there is limited public access or access by invitation only are: Garda Headquarters, Phoenix Park, Civil Defence School, Phoenix Park, Áras an Uachtaráin.
While Dublin Zoo is an independent, selffinancing body, the Minister for Finance is responsible for overseeing a £15 million capital development programme which was approved by Government in 1994.
Works are planned for the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs Offices in Thomas Street under the office's ongoing programme to provide disabled access facilities at State buildings. As regards general development, major projects are in train for the Ordnance Survey Office and the Royal Hospital, Kilmainham.
