157 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources when moneys provided in the budget will be made available to assist sea angling vessel operators to purchase safety equipment in view of the fact that the tourism industry for sea angling commences in March 1999. [5678/99]

I expect to shortly announce details of the sea angling safety equipment scheme, which is being finalised at present.
