191 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development when a decision will be made on a 1999 cattle and suckler cow payment for a person (details supplied); if he will ensure a favourable decision is made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [21894/00]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development (Mr. Walsh):

The herdowner lodged an appeal on 1 August 2000 concerning his 1999 cattle headage and suckler cow premium application. Appeals require individual examination and are dealt with in the order in which they are received. This appeal will be examined in due course and the herdowner will be notified of the outcome.
