Question:

309 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands the legislation which is required to be introduced to implement public private partnership projects under the national development plan which come under her departmental control; when she will publish any such legislation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26888/00]

I do not anticipate a requirement to introduce legislation in order to implement public private partnership projects that may arise in my Department's area of responsibility in the context of the national development plan.

310 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage Gaeltacht and the Islands if her Department has a public private partnership section; the number of staff allocated to this section; the specific projects being dealt with by this section; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [26903/00]

There is no public private partnership section in my Department at present and it is not my intention to establish such a section in the immediate future.
