Visit of US Delegation.

Before proceeding with Question Time today, I take the opportunity to welcome to Dáil Éireann members of the delegation accompanying President Clinton to Ireland, including Secretary for Education, Mr. Richard Reilly, Ms Carol Browner from the Environmental Protection Agency, Mr. Martin Bailey from the Council of Economic Advisers who along with members of the Senate and House of Representatives are here with us in the distinguished visitors' gallery. I especially welcome back to Ireland former Ambassador Jean Kennedy-Smith who is also with us today.

On my own behalf and on behalf of the Members of Dáil Éireann I extend to all of you a most sincere welcome to our country. I trust that your visit will further strengthen the ties of friendship and co-operation between the United States and Ireland.
