Assessment of entitlement to a mobility allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, I have referred the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer, Western Health Board, with a request that she examine the query and issue a direct reply to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
