Vol. 534 No. 2

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Jack Wall

Question:

85 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Carlow will have an operation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10297/01]

The Deputy will appreciate that the scheduling of hospital admissions is a matter for the relevant hospital concerned based upon clinical priority. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer at the South Eastern Health Board, which has responsibility for the provision of hospital services in the case to which the Deputy is referring, to look into the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.

Question No. 86 withdrawn.
