Willie Penrose

Question:

433 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Science the position in relation to the provision of a new two classroom primary school at Dysart, Mullingar, County Westmeath; if the architectural planning stage has concluded; if he will ensure this is progressed without further delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18719/01]

Architectural planning for the provision of a new two-classroom school at Dysart, Mullingar, County Westmeath, is under way. However, the management authorities of the school have now applied for a third classroom. The case will be progressed as quickly as possible having regard to the large number of school building projects being dealt with by my Department.
