Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 9 May 1923

Vol. 1 No. 22

ORDER OF BUSINESS.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

The next business on the Order Paper is the consideration of the amendments made to the amendments passed in this Seanad on the Damage to Property (Compensation) Bill, 1923. I have just received intimation that the Minister in charge of the Bill is not able to attend for the moment. He naturally would like to be here, and I am sure the Seanad would like to have him here. Therefore, I would propose that we should proceed to some other business.

May I suggest that there are a few resolutions to be brought up by different Senators which would take a very short time, and they might be taken not only previous to this, but to the Report of the Committee on Standing Orders, which would take a long time.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

We will take Senator de Loughry's motion.
