Vol. 101 No. 7

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4. Nos. 1 and 2 are substantive motions in regard to two committees. This matter was fully discussed on the expediency motions last week and I do not think they will detain the House for long. Item No. 3 is the continuation of the Criminal Justice (Community Service) Bill and we hope to conclude Second Stage and possibly take Committee Stage. There has been no indication so far of anyone wishing to put down amendments. No. 4 is the debate on developments in the EEC. This is a Government motion and therefore, there is no restriction in regard to time of debate or time for individual speakers. We will take this motion today; if the legislative business is not concluded by 2 p.m. we should debate the EEC motion from 2 p.m. if necessary up to 5 p.m. I suggest we take the normal break from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Order of Business agreed to.
