Vol. 137 No. 7

Business of Seanad.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

I have notice from Senator Farrelly that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to outline the reasons for the delay in allocating national lottery funds to local authorities for distribution in 1993.

I also received notice from Senator Dardis of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Marine to save sea trout from extinction.

I also received notice from Senator Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to extend the time given for the consultative process in relation to the interpretative centre in Luggala, County Wicklow.

I also received notice from Senator Neville of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry to outline the progress to date in implementing the recommendations of the Sixth Joint Committee on Commercial State-Sponsored Bodies Fifth Report on Bord na gCon.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Farrelly, Dardis, Ross and Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senators Farrelly's and Dardis's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Ross and Neville may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
