Vol. 137 No. 8

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Roche that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to take urgent steps to deal with the domestic water supply crisis in south west Wicklow by giving sanction to the regional water supply scheme.

I also received notice from Senator Burke of the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Education to provide Mayo Abbey national school with proper toilet facilities.

I also received notice from Senator Neville of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry to outline the progress to date in implementing the recommendations of the Sixth Oireachtas Joint Committee on Commercial State Sponsored Bodies — 5th Report on Bord na gCon.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Roche, Burke and Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Roche's and Senator Burke's matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
