Gnó an tSeanaid - Business of Seanad

I have received notice from the following Senators that they propose to raise the following matters:

Senator John McGahon - The need for the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform to make a statement on the flooding in north Louth and on the Cooley Peninsula.

Senator Mary Fitzpatrick - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the extension of the free contraception scheme to include hormone replacement therapy.

Senator Mary Seery Kearney - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on Drimnagh primary health care centre.

Senator Robbie Gallagher - The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on whether Monaghan injury unit could replicate the new programme at Roscommon University Hospital to allow patients be brought by ambulance under strict criteria.

Senator Tim Lombard - The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to provide an update on the proposed affordable housing scheme for Kinsale, including timelines for completion of the scheme.

The matters raised by the Senators are suitable for discussion. The Cathaoirleach has selected Senators McGahon, Fitzpatrick, Seery Kearney and Gallagher and they will be taken now. Senator Lombard may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
