Before we start, on my behalf and on behalf of the members of the committee, I express our condolences to the family of John Bruton and particularly to his brother Richard who is a very hard-working and valued member of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment. John Bruton was a former Minister in the Department of Industry, Trade, Commerce and Tourism, which was one of the predecessors to this Department.
