Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government when a decision will be finalised regarding a foreshore licence application in respect of a person (details supplied) in view of the urgency of the particular case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Legal complexities regarding the assignment of the foreshore leasehold interest have arisen in this case. Advice from the Chief State Solicitor’s Office is awaited.
