140. Deputy Maurice Quinlivan asked the Minister for Finance the amount of tax relief given under the section 481 film relief scheme in each of the years 2015 and 2016 and to date in 2017, in tabular form. [33420/17]
View answerI am advised by Revenue that the tax relief claimed under section 481 for the tax year 2015 is €69.7 million. This information will shortly be published on Revenue’s webpage at http://www.revenue.ie/en/corporate/information-about-revenue/statistics/tax-expenditures/costs-expenditures.aspx. Information for earlier years is included therein. Information in respect of the tax relief claimed by companies for the tax years 2016 and 2017 will not be available until after the returns for these years are filed.
