Deputy Catherine Connolly asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he has satisfied himself regarding the submitted observation, which stated that the authority had no observations to make in relation to the foreshore lease planning application (details supplied) on Galway Bay. The application referred to by the Deputy was referred to my Department by the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government for observations.

The observations forwarded by my Department, and which are referred to by the Deputy, were made following an examination by my Department of the application in question.
