420. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the progress to date in the determination of an application for invalidity pension in the case of a person (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [33371/17]
View answerThe gentleman referred to has been awarded invalidity pension with effect from the 6 October 2016. His first payment issued to his nominated post office on the 25 May 2017 and all arrears due issued to him by cheque on 6 July 2017. The gentleman in question was notified of this decision on the 10 May 2017.
