Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if he will provide details of contracts awarded in 2022 by his Department or bodies under his aegis outside the standard procurement process in order to assist the arrival of refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has not awarded any contracts outside the standard procurement process as part of the Department's work in supporting Ireland's humanitarian response to Ukrainian citizens who want to seek safety here.
