72. Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn asked the Minister for Transport the reason for the numerous breakdowns on 20 March 2023 on the Bus Éireann route 32 from Dublin to Letterkenny; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [15598/23]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
The issue raised by the deputy in relation to the reason for the numerous breakdowns on 20 March 2023 on the Bus Éireann route 32 from Dublin to Letterkenny is an operational matter for Bus Éireann.I have, therefore, referred the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply.
