Deputy Neasa Hourigan asked the Minister for Health if he will outline his work on the development of an Action Plan on Loneliness, committed to in the Programme for Government, the Roadmap for Social Inclusion and the Healthy Ireland Strategic Plan; if he will outline timelines for the publication of same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Minister and the Department remain fully committed to delivering upon this important objective. Officials in the Department are actively examining how best to progress this Programme for Government Commitment and it is envisaged that an update on progress will be delivered to the Minister before the summer.
