I propose to take Questions Nos. 345 and 347 together.

Appointments to the Board of the National Museum are made in accordance with Section 19 of the National Cultural Institutions Act 1997 and are made following a competitive process run by the Public Appointments Service, unless otherwise provided for by Section 19. It should be noted that in making appointments to the Board, it is important to consider the broad range of skills required, including experience in corporate governance, finance, legal, sustainability as well as skills relevant to the functions of the museum.
