853. Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Justice if a factory (details supplied) in Carrickmacross was part of any application for the immigrant investor scheme; the details of any application; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27093/23]
View answerAs the Deputy will be aware, the Government agreed to close the Immigrant Investor Programme (IIP) to further applications from 15 February 2023. The IIP Unit has published a FAQ concerning the closure on my Department's website, which will be updated with any further arising questions from the closure, and is available here: www.irishimmigration.ie/faqs-closure-of-the-immigrant-investor-programme-iip/.
As Minister, I do not comment on individual IIP applications, or whether particular undertakings have benefited from investment under the programme.
