60. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications the number of instances in which his Department used unlicensed software and/or lapsed licenced software in the past ten years to date; the associated expenditure on same to remedy the situation; and the software that was being used. Controls and policies are in place to ensure only authorised software is permitted and used. These have been implemented and as a result, this scenario has not occurred in my Department.
