661. Deputy Ivana Bacik asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the number of vacancies in the Residential Tenancies Board; and the roles which are vacant. [37079/23]
View answerChapter 2 of part 8 of the Residential Tenancies Acts 2004 – 2022 provides for the composition of the Residential Tenancies Board (the Board). Section 153 provides that the members of the Board shall be such number, not less than 9 and not more than 12, as the Minister considers appropriate from time to time. The Board currently consists of 11 members, 2 of which have recently been re-appointed.
