Deputy Neasa Hourigan asked the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications if he has ensured that the infrastructure associated with the deposit return scheme will be universally accessible, in particular for wheelchair users; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Under the Deposit Return Scheme RS Regulations, retailers and return point operators are obliged to ensure the take-back facility they provide is easily accessible for all consumers.
