The European Parliament Information Office in Ireland will hold an information workshop in Leinster House at 10am on Thursday, 1 June. The session will focus on giving TDs, Senators and staff the skills to access information about the European Parliament and other institutions.
In recent years, the European Parliament has developed new online resources that aim to render European policy development and decision making more transparent. In particular, the European Parliamentary Research Service, established in 2013, provides a range of independent and authoritative information and analysis across all EU policy areas. The workshop will feature presentations by staff of the European Parliament’s Research Service and from the Publications Office of the European Union as well as from the Oireachtas Library & Research Service.
The workshop will take place in the AV Room in Leinster House, from 10 am to 12.30 pm.
