Social inclusion and special needs housing to be discussed at Housing and Homelessness Committee

The Oireachtas Committee on Housing and Homelessness will meet tomorrow Thursday, 19th May 2016 at 10:30am in Committee Room 3, Leinster House.

The schedule for the meeting is as follows:

Session A: 10:30am

Housing and Homelessness [Representatives from the Irish Refugee Council]

Session B: 11:30am

Housing and Homelessness [Representatives from Pavee Point]

Session C: 2pm

Housing and Homelessness [Representatives from Tiglin Challenge Ireland]

Session D: 3:30pm

Housing and Homelessness [Representatives from Tyrrelstown]

Committee Chairman, John Curran TD, said, “Tomorrow’s meeting will focus on social inclusion and special needs housing, including supportive housing services. The Committee will hear from groups representing refugees, travellers and those dealing with addiction problems. Residents from Tyrrelstown will also address the Committee on their efforts to remain as tenants of houses being served with eviction notices.”
