The Committee on Regional Development, Rural Affairs, Arts and the Gaeltacht will meet with representatives from the municipal districts of Belturbet, Connemara and Kells tomorrow, Tuesday 20th September 2016, to discuss regional development and the provision of infrastructure in rural areas.

The issue of rural development and the provision of necessary infrastructure in rural areas will be on the Committee’s agenda tomorrow when we meet with representatives from three municipal districts – Belturbet, Connemara and Kells. It will be an opportunity to hear directly from various rural districts about infrastructural development and implementation in their areas and for the Committee to discuss the concerns of rural dwellers in relation to supporting real and sustainable development in rural Ireland.”

This meeting will start at 2.15pm, tomorrow, Tuesday, 20th September 2016 in Committee Room 1, Leinster House. Committee proceedings can be viewed live here.
