Jobs Committee to continue discussion on ‘Brexit’

The Joint Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation will resume its hearings on the likely economic impact of Brexit, with particular emphasis on jobs, and the steps being taken to mitigate these risks.

7th November 2016

The meeting will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, 8th November 2016 at 4:30pm in Committee Room 4, Leinster House.

The following bodies will appear before the Committee:

Session A: 5 p.m. [Representatives from Ibec; the British Irish Chamber of Commerce; and Chambers Ireland]

Session B: 6.15 p.m. [Representatives from Small Firms Association; Irish Small and Medium Enterprises; and Irish Exporters Association].

Prior to this, the Committee will carry out scrutiny of EU legislative proposals:
COM(2016)593; COM(2016)470; COM(2016)444; COM(2016)443; COM(2016)596; COM(2016)595.
