Joint Committee on Autism to resume discussions on Autism Policy with stakeholders

The Joint Committee on Autism will meet at 11am tomorrow, Tuesday, 28 February, in Committee Room 4 of Leinster House to resume discussions on Autism Policy with stakeholders.

The meeting will hear from:

  • Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI), Dr Louise Higgins Senior Clinical Psychologist;
  • The Irish Association of Speech & Language Therapists (IASLT), Ms Aine Lawlor, Chairperson of IASLT's Professional Standards Standing Committee; and Ms Maria Gleeson Cary, Speech and Language Therapy Manager, Brothers of Charity Ireland–South; and
  • Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI), Mr Odhrán Allen, Chief Executive Officer; and Ms Rosalind Noël, Senior Occupational Therapist, CDNT Cope Foundation and member of AOTI Management Team.

The Joint Committee on Autism, chaired by Senator Micheál Carrigy, has 12 Members, seven from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.

The meeting in Committee Room 4 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
