Issues such as security, safety, the provision of health and medical services and flood risk management are of huge concern in rural communities throughout Ireland and many parts of rural Ireland face ongoing challenges in terms of accessing many of these vital services. We are looking forward to examining these matters with the various groups at our meeting tomorrow.”

This meeting will start at 2.15pm, tomorrow, Wednesday, 2 November 2016 in Committee Room 4, Leinster House. Committee proceedings can be viewed live here.

Committee proceedings can also be viewed on the move, through the Houses of the Oireachtas Smartphone App, available for Apple and Android devices.
