asked the Minister for Finance if he will state how the particulars of the interest received from the investments of the Marshall Aid Loan Counterpart Fund in each financial year since the fund was established are set out in the statement referred to by him in the Official Report of Dáil Debates, column 811, Volume 143, No. 5.

Particulars of the interest received from the investments of the American Loan Counterpart Fund are given under the specific heading of "Interest received from investments" in the Accounts of the Fund for each year since it wasestablished. This item is the second of the two items shown in the Receipts column on page 2 of the Account (Pr. 80) for the year 1949-50; it is the third of the three items shown in the same column of the Accounts for the years 1950-51 (page 3 of Pr. 607), 1951-52 (page 3 of Pr. 1407) and 1952-53 (page 3 of Pr. 2058).
Would the Minister give us the total figure for each year? I am sure that he has them there.
I have the figures. I do not think it is really a duty of the Minister's office to save Deputies looking up these figures in the Library. However——

The figure for 1950-51 is £743 16s. 9d.; for 1951-52 the figure is £376,862 6s. 8d. and, for 1952-53, £831,006 11s. 2d.
