Decisions in relation to the registration of firearms dealers to deal in firearms and ammunition or to deal in sporting ammunition only, are based on a number of factors, including the suitability of the premises in question from the security point of view. This has always been the case and any conditions imposed on firearms dealers in any part of the State for security reasons must stand.
