I am not aware that there is urgent need for maintenance on the Cregg river at present. The river is kept under observation and maintenance work under the Corrib-Clare drainage scheme is carried out as required. If the Deputy would be more specific as to the need for and location of urgent maintenance I will have the matter further investigated.
