In order to allow for the fullest consideration of their applications for assistance in 1980, youth organisations have been given the opportunity to meet with my Department's officials for a detailed discussion of their applications. These meetings are currently taking place.
I shall decide on the grant allocations for 1980 when the results of those meetings are available. In the meantime I am not in a position to state the amount of the grant for each organisation and the total amount to be paid in respect of all the organisations which will receive a grant.
