It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1 and 6 (resumed). Private Members' Business will be taken between 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m., No. 21 resumed. By agreement it is proposed that next week the House will not sit on Tuesday. It will meet at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday and the Thursday sitting will be extended to 8.30 p.m.
Order of Business.
I ask the Taoiseach if, in view of the obvious inadequacies of the National Monuments Act, 1930, it is now his intention to introduce new legislation or will he now accept the 1978 Amendment Act proposed by Fine Gael?
This is a question of proposing new legislation and there is not any notice of it.
I have had no indication that this would be raised but I will consider the matter.
