The Commissioners of Public Works are attending to arrangements for the preparation of working drawings for the new national school at Gort. It is not possible, at this stage, to say when building work may commence.

Architectural planning for a major extension to Gort vocational school, County Galway, has been initiated. At this early stage of planning, I am not in a position to state when building work may commence.
Rather than ask a supplementary question on No. 10 I decided to group Nos. 10 and 11 together and I am sure that the Minister will not mind.
The Minister has no competence in the matter.
I am sure the Minister can remember the reply he gave to Question No. 10. Rather than say that he cannot tell when the building will commence, surely he can say if it will commence in the first half of 1981 or sometime in 1981?
