I am aware of the report referred to by the Deputy and the matter has been brought to the attention of the Director of Consumer Affairs.
I might add that the director is, under section 9 of the Consumer Information Act, 1978, independent in the performance of his functions, and I would like the Deputy to feel assured that he could raise other similar issues directly with the director.
