A grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house is satisfactorily completed and occupied and complies with all the other conditions of the grant scheme. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to have a £1,000 new house grant paid to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.
The applicant in this case has been requested to submit documentation to my Department in support of his application for a new house grant. This documentation includes a house plan, site plan, detailed specification and planning permission. When these are received an inspection of the house will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant.
