I understand that the local authority acting within its own discretionary powers has accepted a tender for this project but I have no information as to any technical reports which might have been submitted to them in relation to that decision.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a tender will be approved for a new fire station (details supplied) in County Meath as the closing date for receipt of tenders is 5 November 1986; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
There are no proposals at present before my Department for approval in respect of this project. A decision on the acceptance of a tender would be a matter for the local authority.
