141 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Education the current position regarding the proposed extension application in respect of a school (details supplied) in County Louth; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9440/96]
An application for grant-aid towards the cost of an extension at the school to which the Deputy refers was received by my Department.
The funds available this year for capital improvements are fully committed. This project will be considered again in the context of future capital allocations. My Department will write to the school authorities on the matter within the next couple of weeks.
